Add PPE Recovery Initiative to your Account

The PPE Recovery Initiative!

This new program is designed to help you reduce the environmental impact of the new salon sanitary requirements that have been put in place, and make sure that your personal protective equipment is responsibly disposed of.

Through our new program, you’ll be able to recover all of your salon’s protective gear including items like masks, gloves, and single use towels, as well as items used to disinfect your space like wipes and paper towels.

How It Works

Our exciting new PPE Recovery Initiative is easy to add-on to your existing Green Circle Salons service! This affordable program makes it easy to safely and responsibly dispose of your personal protection gear.

Step One - Login to the Hairmail Portal, order a PPE box from the portal store

Step Two - Once you receive your PPE Recovery Initiative Kit, assemble the box, and place it in your salon for your staff and guests to use

Step Three - Once your box is full simply seal the box and ship it back to us!

Step Four - All PPE boxes will remain sealed for the safety of our staff and shipped in bulk to our partners

Our partners will safely process each box and your PPE waste will be used to create clean renewable energy that powers our homes. The leftover ash can be used as filler in asphalt and various construction items, like brick.

What’s the difference between PPE Recovery and Single Use Items?
This program is different from our Single Use Items waste stream. You can not include any PPE in your regular shipping box. A $67 processing fee will be automatically charged for any shipping box that is found to contain a bag of PPE or where PPE is found mixed with other waste.

What items can we put in the box?

  • Disposable Capes/Gowns
  • Masks
  • Face Shields
  • Gloves
  • Disinfectant Wipes
  • Paper Towels

How many boxes can I order?
As many as you want! We recommend more than one so you can place them in different areas of your salon.

Where do I put my PPE box?
We recommend placing a box in your front entrance, on the floor, and/or in your back room.
